His Excellency officially opened the new Office of the Superintendent Registrar which has moved to New Street. The Office of the Superintendent Registrar, or better known to Islanders as the Registry Office is responsible for all the civil registration on the Island. So all births, marriages, deaths, adoptions, stillbirths, civil partnerships, etc. The new accommodates has a dedicated ceremony room and three dedicated strong rooms for all the Island’s records, ensuring their safety and preservation for generations to come.
