His Excellency met with Parish Officials on Monday 23rd September 2024 to carry out the replanting of ‘The Governor’s Oak’ which was destroyed during Storm Ciaran. A second tree in memory of Edouard Le Maistre, who was an extremely well-known Jersey man and who was a prominent member of The Jersey Society in London, was also planted by His Excellency and Mrs Jenny Le Maistre, widow of the late Mr Le Maistre.
