Three long-serving honorary police officers from the Parish of Trinity were honoured at a ceremony at Government House last week. The volunteers were awarded either the Honorary Police Long and Meritorious Service Medal, given when officers have served more than 12 years or a “bar” to that medal showing that they have spent more than 21 years working for the organisation.
Luis Pereira and Susie Richardson were both awarded Long Service and Good Conduct Medals in recognition of their tenacity, hard work and years of outstanding commitment to the States of Jersey Prison Service.
