His Excellency and Dr Kyd visited Val de la Mare on Friday 13th October 2023, and met with the Trees for Life Team who were carrying out various maintenance works. His Excellency and Dr Kyd walked through the Australasian, Oak, North American and Japanese Collections, and helped put botanical labels onto the cages surrounding the trees, removing weeds, old spirals and surrounding bracken.
